This kit with 3/8 NPT and 1/2 NPT o-ring adapters works well for installations on LS engines. Although this is a universal heater hose kit, we encourage you to take advantage of our revolutionary new fitting exchange program. Every hose kit includes an exchange form and a pre-addressed exchange envelope. Simply fill out the form, return any of the fittings in the kit and we will exchange them for you. You provide the postage to us and we will provide the postage back to you. With this program, you can start with a universal kit and make it specific to your installation.

Measure and cut your Pure Stealth Nylon Braided E-Z Clip or standard E-Z Clip hose to the correct length. Slide the supplied heat shrink tube onto the hose along with both of the supplied E-Z Clip clips. Apply a drop of the supplied o-ring oil onto the two viton o-rings on the fitting nipple. Slide the Pure Stealth E-Z Clip fitting into the hose until it bottoms out against the raised collar. Snap the supplied cage onto the fitting as pictured. Slide the two clips over the cage so that they are located in the recessed depressions on the cage. This insures that the clips are aligned directly over the viton o-rings.
Use E-Z Clip pliers to squeeze the clips together until you hear them click. When using our Pure Stealth Braided Nylon E-Z Clip Hose, it may be necessary to use a vise to apply adequate pressure on the pliers.
Slide the heat shrink tube over the cage and clips and use a heat gun or pen torch to shrink it over the assembly.
We suggest orienting the two bumps on the clips away from the line of sight. Lubricate the o-ring and threads on the fitting with the supplied PAG oil and it is ready for installation.
If you are using an LS engine with the stock water pump, simply pull the steel heater hose barbs out of your water pump, drill and tap the holes. The smaller port will be the pressure port and it should be tapped to 3/8 NPT. The larger port will be the return port and it should be tapped to 1/2 NPT. Install X15000 in the pressure port and X15010 in the return port.
